What is required to rent a scooter? Do I need any special licenses?
You will need to present yourpassport or national identity document, a credit card to make the security deposit, and your driving license. Spanish law allows driving 125cc scooters with a three-year-old car driving license. You need a valid driving license for Spain (vehicle or motorcycle).
Is a deposit / bond required?
You must leave a deposit of €300. You must pay by credit card. Don’t forget about her! However, the amount will not be charged to your credit card unless there is an incident that requires it.
Can the motorcycle be used by two people?
You can drive all of our scooters with two people. In this case, you should request an extra helmet at no cost.
What happens if I have an accident or my scooter is stolen?
The compulsory insurance is already included in the basic rental price and covers damages against third parties. For damages caused to the scooter itself or theft, we have an optional all-risk insurance (+ € 5.00 per day) that reduces the amount to be paid to a maximum of € 400 (excess).
What happens if I am late in the delivery of the motorcycle that I have reserved?
The delivery date of the motorcycles is from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. If delivery is made after 10:00 a.m. An extra whole day will be charged (the price will vary depending on the model and the days rented).
What does the compulsory insurance included in the price cover?
The compulsory insurance is included in the rental price and only covers damage to third parties. Optionally (recommended) you can contract the Full Risk Insurance paying an extra € 5.00 / day.
Is it possible to take out comprehensive insurance?
Yes, you can take out comprehensive insurance with a € 400 franchise in case of damage to the scooter itself or in case of theft or loss, the price is € 5.00 per day.
Should I fill the tank with gasoline?
The motorcycle is delivered with a full tank and you must return it full or pay € 10 for this concept when delivering the scooter.
What happens if I cancel my reservation?
Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- Cancellation up to 1 day before the initial date period: loss of deposit 20% of the total (already paid).
- Cancellation the same day: will not be refunded (the entire rent will be paid)
Can I travel outside the city?
You can circulate throughout the national territory.
